I believe that all Azurite, or Copper-mineral, or Lavrion, or Thumbnail, or Greek mineral collectors should have an example from the find of 2017 that produced this beautiful little specimen. The quality of the azurite (color, luster, gemminess) is remarkable and the quantity of specimens was too low to satisfy all collectors. Although there is an article in the German Lapis magazine and references in several other places, they are still little known to the mineral community. Those became European Classics almost immediately after they were found and represent the finest Greek/Lavrion azurites until today. This specimen shows what some collectors call "blue-glass azurite" and the cluster of thin, bladed crystals (though unterminated/damaged on top) is associated with a leaf of copper that has altered to goethite. This altered-copper association is unique with no more than 10 specimens from the pocket exhibiting it! Malachite is present too. From the collection of Konstantinos Papaspyropoulos.
