Greek linarite of this quality and crystal size is extremely rare and only comes from this remote and now exhausted locality. The piece is among the top specimens ever recovered from the locality with a beautiful 1.1cm cluster of well-fromed, lustrous and gemmy, electric blue linatire. The vug has a layer of contrasting green brochantite! Although we have seen longer linarites from this locality, those were mostly embedded in matrix or composed of very thin, elongated crystals. This is one has much thicker crystals than what is usual for the locality.
