Sklodowskite is a rare uranium mineral. It had never been found in Greece until last year when a new discovery was made in the Plaka mine. There is an article in the German Lapis magazine about this find. The sklodowskite comes in almost golden "suns" of radiating thin needles on gypsum. This is a great example from the find and quite rich compared to others. This is a fine rarity to own from anywhere.
