Description:

This piece was discovered in 2013, in the Hilarion mine. It was part of a find that yielded mostly aragonite coated smithsonite that was then dissolved to reveal the smithsonite on most pieces. This piece shows the nice pastel green tone of the find and the green layer is on top of a blue one. The piece has good luster and relief and is an excellent example of this unique color tone from this find.
