Photos don't do justice on this one. The smithsonite is very thick unlike most Lavrion smithsonites that are just a thin crust. Apart from being unusually rich, the piece has good blue to blue-green color and fine luster. There seem to be some natural irregularities on the specimen's surface but there is no apparent damage on it. A classic smithsonite from Lavrion that reminds us of the good old times of the mines when it was still possible to be get such a piece. This one is an exception of contemporary finds as it was discovered in 2019. From the collection of Konstantinos Papaspyropoulos.
