Below is an interesting tool created for fun. Only people with very good knowledge on minerals & mineral collecting can use it properly. It produces an estimation of the value of your mineral specimen. We try to take most important factors into consideration but there may still be more to ask. You have to answer all questions. The more objective and accurate your answers are, the closer to a real value our answer will be. We will be improving/editing this tool regularly! At this time, we are improving the instructions on how to score each answer.
*Under no circumstance would we advise to use this tool as a reference for sales or appraisals. Some attempts might lead way off(even orders of magnitude, depending on how one scores) the real value of the specimen (though many “experiments” turn out to be quite accurate). 3 people who would use the tool for the same specimen would probably end up with 3 different values, as the answers to many questions are subjective.

Please answer all 31 questions below. Take your time and think it through. Try to be fair and accurate. A general instruction is to not just score 0 or 100% even for yes or no answers, in most if not all cases you have to judge/estimate how your specimen performs in each question and score what you believe is accurate. This is why there is a percentage bar and not a checkbox!
